Pastors & Staff

David Lafrenz

Lead Pastor

Pastor David has been in youth ministry since before his high schooler was born. He loves getting to journey with teenagers as they dream about their future.  David loves all things sports and a dream day for David is playing on the beach in Hawaii with people he loves.  David is married and has 2 teenage children.

Doug Moe

Teaching Pastor

Doug and his wife, Wendy have been married since May 11, 1991. Together they have raised 5 children – two who were adopted foster children, and they now have 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In May of 2015 they were honored to have Pastor Cory Daker preside in the reaffirming of their wedding vows for their 25th wedding anniversary. For the mathematicians in the house, we realized it was only 24 years, but the invitations were sent out and the cake was already ordered. Doug is a life-long resident of South King County, growing up in Kent, Washington and attended Kentridge High School. Shortly after graduation, Doug was hired by the Boeing Company in what would become a 40-year career, culminating as a Flightline Quality Assurance Manager. Doug and Wendy have been members of the Church of the Nazarene since 1995 and Doug enjoys serving on the worship team and leading bible study. Doug first sensed God’s call to ministry as a teenager, but life took him in other directions. In 2017 Doug began having earnest discussions with Pastor Cory about ministry and becoming a pastor. Doug is currently completing course work through Northwest Nazarene University with designs on ordination, with the plan to retire from Boeing to go into full time ministry.
